This is our second. We love the first one but wanted to be able to hear the chime when outside. Totally recommend the product and the seller!

It works perfectly as the seller promised. One thing I need is to add a feature - the ability to integrate the motion detector's receiver with a home automation system. Just add Z-Wave or ZigBee interface to make it compatible with SmartThings or other automation. Simple dry contact output for one of the channels will be some solution. With such integration, it will be possible to control the external lighting, send notifications, etc. It is the reason I did not give 5 stars. I wait for the manufacturer's response.

Works well unless temperature gets down near zero .

I bought this as a driveway warning. It works perfectly. Mounting it was a pain but I got it to work out. A nice little doorbell like chime when someone or something comes up the driveway. Always a good heads up. You can take the doorbell receiver into whatever room you¡¯re in. It¡¯s portable. No internet, no plug in. So it sits next to me on the nightstand when I¡¯m in bed for the night but I can take it to the nightstand in the family room while we watch a movie. Good way to know the pizza delivery guy is here!

These work great even at a long distance on a wooded farm. We did have to adjust the direction they were pointed because they were picking up movement from the street.

I live in the woods with a long driveway; so there's not a lot of sun to charge it. So far its doing an awesome job. I should know how good it charges in the Spring/Summer when I have a little bit more sun than in the Winter.

I just needed this product to be added to my home's security equipment.
