FAQs

☟ How do I know if my CarPlay needs an update or has the latest firmware?

In most cases, the CarPlay does not require a firmware upgrade unless there are specific issues.
If you're experiencing any problems or indeed wish to update the firmware, please check the following inforamtion:

Please follow these steps to provide the details required to verify it:
1. Access your CarPlay settings.
2. Locate the "Configuration" under "Firmware Version".
3. Take a photo of this information and send it to us.
4. Also send us the Order Number of the CarPlay.

Once we confirm your CarPlay has an available firmware update, we will provide a link to download the update instruction file. This file includes:
Download links for the reference video
Card software installation files
Firmware update package

There are only four steps to update it:
1. Prepare a 16-64GB SD card, SD card software, and firmware file(download from links).
2. Burning an SD card with the PhoenixCard software(simply add the files as shown in the instructions and reference video,
then click and click the button to finish burning the card with firmware updates files);
3. Insert the SD card into CarPlay to update the Carplay firmware. 4. Restoring the card using the software.

☟ What should I do if the connection to the car screen is intermittent?

1. Turn off Bluetooth and WIFI. Restart the phone and device to reconnect.
2. Clear the phone's memory and reconnect.
3. Please check whether the power supply is plugged in tightly. Please use the original charging cable.

☟ How to avoid noise?

Please use Bluetooth to connect to the car audio.

☟ Why there is noise when connecting AUX to the car's audio system?

If there is noise when connecting AUX to the car's audio system, it is usually caused by ground loops or electromagnetic interference. Here is why using a filter can reduce or eliminate these noises:
1. **Ground Loop**:
- A ground loop occurs when two or more devices are connected to the same ground point through different paths, and there is a potential difference between these paths. This potential difference can cause unwanted currents to flow through the connecting cables, leading to noise.
- AUX connections often span across different devices (like a smartphone and a car's audio system). If their grounds are not in sync, it can create a ground loop, resulting in a buzzing noise or other disturbances.
2. **Electromagnetic Interference**: - Modern vehicles are filled with electronic devices, which can generate electromagnetic interference (EMI), interfering with audio signals and causing noise.

Using a filter can help resolve these issues:
1. **Ground Loop Isolation**:
- Some audio filters (such as ground loop isolators) break the ground loop by inserting an isolation transformer into the signal line. The transformer allows audio signals to pass through while physically separating the ground lines, thus preventing ground loops.
- This prevents the buzzing noise and other disturbances caused by ground potential differences.
2. **High-Frequency Filtering**:
- Some audio filters contain components like capacitors and inductors that can filter out electromagnetic interference in a specific frequency range. This can reduce the static or other unwanted signals caused by electromagnetic interference.
- These filters are used to eliminate high-frequency noise and ensure audio signal quality.
Thus, if there is noise in an AUX-connected audio system, using an appropriate filter might be an effective solution. Filters can break ground loops or reduce electromagnetic interference to improve audio quality.

☟ What should I do if the carplay screen cannot be used after multiple restarts?

1. Please check whether the power supply is plugged in tightly. And ensure use the original charging cable.
2. Please do not use 2-in-1 car charger.
